Big day for GECKO team

On Saturday, November 7th, our GECKO team was welcomed by Beijing’s Heping Jie No. 1 High School to give a presentation on Easter Island, our environmental footprint, and clean energy, and green careers. The students were extremely responsive and had impressive knowledge of both the English language and environmental issues. The lecture was also praised by a Chinese government official from the Environmental Protection Ministry’s Center for Environmental Education & Communications. Big day for our GECKO initiative, touring high schools in small cities around China since last February 2008!
